The Beijing Devils put in a stellar performance to beat the Seoul Survivors.
The Devils forwards as a whole played with much determination and their defensive aligment was iron clad. Seoul’s bigger forwards were relentless with their hit ups and tried to pummel the Devils into submission. However, they were constantly being turned away. Another highlight for the forwards was their work in the line-outs. The Devils secured their own ball well and wreaked havoc on Seoul’s line-outs (taking many of them).
As has been the case this year for the backs, the Devils were very effective in shutting down any attacking movement from Seoul’s backs. Further, the Devils punished Seoul with long range kicks (that were well covered) and some great ball handling and running. Always looking dangerous, the Devils backs gave Seoul fits with their deceptive moves and dummy runners.
A very well deserved victory for the Beijing Devils.
