This game saw so many tries run in by red shirts that the score is not completely conclusive – once again the She Devils made use their superior fitness, pace and strength in depth to heavily overcome a brave but ineffective Seoul side.
The Devils ensured that they shut down Seoul’s only playmaker and exploited their lack of pace to run in a try a minute. The outstanding Jane Cheung added two to her overall tally, Francis, who was now playing in her fifth game of the day, continued to chase everything down like a demented terrier and was rewarded with a brace of her own, Ivanov added one more from a penalty, Wichrowska added one and, deep into the second half, Jasmin Thornburrow opened her Devils account with a nice drive from the back of a breakdown. Once again, Tamara Cano stepped in as a super sub and joined in with the try scoring jamboree.
The Devils passing was so good that the coach almost sh*t himself with excitement.
Tries: Cheung (2), Francis (2), Ivanov, Thornburrow, Wichrowska, Cano and 2 to be claimed.
Cons: Francis, Madell (4)
