The Devils came into this game really wanting to make a statement to the league just who is the best team in town. Loongbang were coming off two good games (a narrow 32-29 loss to the Brothers and 34-15 whipping of the Aardvarks).
The Devils knew they had to come out flying against Loongbang and did not disappoint. The first 20-30 minutes was played really well. Intensity, precision, discipline and execution of the the system enabled the Devils to be up 29-0 by the break.
The second half was little disappointing as there seemed to be a general lull in play. However, the Devils did still manage to score a couple more tries to pad the lead. Overall, good result.
